This election year, these big-time industry players either volunteer to contribute (bribe) or are solicited for big donations by some major political candidates. Each of the more than 3 million very poor Filipino families spend much more for rice in terms of percentage of the family's total income, or received dole outs from a government program, than an average lower-middle class American family spends in total for foods. This contributes to the burdens of these families already suffering from occasional hunger - pinning them further to long-term poverty)

Are we advancing this cause? Are we making progress with this initiative? Yes, definitely. Absence of online activities doesn't mean we're not doing anything to advance this cause.
